Entering the One Love Jamaican Restaurant in Hendersonville is like stepping
into a little Jamaican paradise! This place is the REAL DEAL if you are
looking for Caribbean food: They have wonderful Jerk Chicken (a MUST for
first-timers), Jerk Fish, Curried Chicken, Shrimp, and Goat, Oxtail and other
Caribbean delicacies too numerous to mention. The rice and beans are wonderful,
the collards to die for, the plantains are soft and sweet. And, for
goodness sake, order some extra cornbread because you've never had any as moist and
flavorful! (Is the secret ingredient mashed plantains?)
They also have a wonderful array of Jamaican soft
drinks, including Ginger Beer and Ting grapefruit soda.
