Ultimate Ice Cream
Located on tunnel road right behind Pomodoro's.  Ultimate ice cream is made right in the shop with all natural ingredients and flavors. 

The Hop on Merrimon
The Hop makes all their ice cream in the shop with all natural ingredients.  They also make vegan soy ice cream which is definitely worth trying.  I myself was quite impressed.  The Hop is the perfect place for birthdays.  They offer birthday packages that include face painting, entertainment and a build your own sundae bar.

Marble Slab Creamery
Many people don't realize that Marble Slab makes their ice cream fresh right in the shop.  What make's marble slab unique is that you can combine ingredients such as nuts, candy etc and they mix it together right in front of you on a chilled marble slab.  Delicious!

Hookah House Coffee & Gelato Bar
Gelato is the Mercedes of ice cream.  It has less air than ice cream and is made with fresh natural ingredients and flavors.  The result is a dense flavorful treat.  The Hookah House offers the best Gelato in the area hands down!  Be sure to stop by and try it.

Cintom's Frozen Custard
Frozen custard is a cold dessert similar to ice cream made with eggs in addition to cream & sugar.  Cintoms offers the best frozen custard in the area and it is made fresh daily.  The sitting area at Cintom's is charming as well making it a great place to take a cool break.

Philly Hoagie House
Located in North Asheville the Philly Hoagie House is worth the trip to experience some of the best soft ice cream in WNC. The secret is in the butter fat.  You have to taste it to really appreciate the difference.  The style is 50's and the ice cream bar offers all the traditional favorites like real banana spits and thick milkshakes.  They also offer real Italian Ices.  If you are from up north and familiar with Italian Ices you will really appreciate this.  They serve the real deal.

Located on Hendersonville Rd at Dingle Creek Crossing, TCBY  ice cream is made from real yogurt.  TCBY takes yogurt a step further with 96% fat-free and no sugar-added options. There's literally something for everyone. Even some people who are lactose intolerant can enjoy TCBY yogurt because yogurt is easier to digest than other dairy products.
